Olympic Wings offers paragliding beginner courses for everyone who wishes to learn how to fly. We offer complete beginners and low airtime pilots a special course of fundamental training and education in paragliding.
As much as being introduced to this captivating sport you will acquire the necessary base of knowledge and skills to becoming a paragliding pilot.

Olympic Wings school & flying center paragliding equipment is modern, continuously checked and EN certified for paragliding following the latest designs and materials.
For this course our students will train with a complete set of reliable beginner equipment to ensure your safety!
From smooth, easy take offs to large, comfortable landing fields under the continuous supervision of two qualified instructors – one to support you on takeoff and one to guide you on landing – and of course all the way through your flight.

Olympic Wings is affiliated to APPI and offers paragliding courses which follow the APPI education system.
By the end of the course you will have had lessons further counting towards your international club pilot or pilot licence.
All our instructors and tandem pilots have a third part liability insurance for the paragliding activity.
Our students can register for a personal accident insurance on request.
As a tour operator Olympic Wings has the necessary coverage according to Greek and European Law for all travel services – accommodation and transfers – offered and booked through our customers.

Olympus with its highest peak Mytikas 2.918 m is the highest mountain range in Greece and the famous home of the Greek Gods. It is located directly next to the Aegean Sea with its long coast lines and sandy beaches.
Our flying area with more than 15 take off’s covers the three mountains Pieria, Olympus and Kissavos that form a longer range parallel to the sea separated by impressive valleys.
These mountains protect our area throughout the year from strong meteorological winds so developing their own local wind systems which we use for flying.
The many different flying sites offer particularly great training experience as they present for pilots each their own diverse flying conditions.
